Kathy Johnson, age 77, of Fort Payne, Alabama, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Collinsville Healthcare.

Kathy was born in LaFayette, Georgis on May 31, 1948 to Joseph E. Day & Dora Geneva Rackley Day. She was a retired hairdresser.

She is survived by:

Children: Michael Kelley Sr. (Ann), Sherry Denise Chastain, & Brooke Edge

Siblings: Betty Hall (John), Shirley Daniel (Chris), & Tim Little

Several Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren

Preceded in death by:

Son: Joshua Brian Edge

I had the pleasure of getting too take care of Ms Kathy when she first came to the long term hall at Collinsville health care ....she shared tons of stories with me from her hairdressing days too raising her kids and much more....she will be missed deeply by all of us at Collinsville health care....condolences to all of the family.
