Mrs. Eleanor Teverino

March 7, 1943 – October 26, 2026

Eleanor Teverino of Mentone, Alabama, died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, October 26, 2026.

She was the loving wife to Anthony (Tony), devoted mother to Robert and Scot and doting Grandmother to Luke, Brendan and her sweet angel, the late Liv. Dear sister to David, Caroline, Joan, Ruth, Raymond, Harold, Yvonne, Jacqueline, Sharron and the late George, Doreen and Bobby.

Little Grandma, as her grandkids called her, enjoyed working in her garden, feeding and watching the birds in the yard, as well as being a loving soul to all she met. She was always available to listen, be a shoulder to lean on and provided the most loving and warm hugs to anyone who needed one. She also had an amazing sense of humor to put everyone at ease and bring levity to the world. Eleanor was a gracious servant to humanity and a light for those in need.

“Cardinals symbolize love, and love transcends beyond life and death.” – when you see one know Eleanor is close and filling your heart with warmth.

She will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
