Mrs. Diane Ophelia Robinette

August 12, 1948 – March 15, 2024

Mrs. Diane Ophelia Robinette, age 75, of Fort Payne, Alabama passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Parkridge West Hospital in Jasper, Tennessee.

Diane had unwavering faith in Jesus Christ throughout her entire life and was heavily influenced by the book of Psalms. She shared this love in every duty that she served and it was reflected in her beautiful smile. She dearly loved her family, her friends, and all of the children she worked with throughout her many years of teaching and working in daycare programs.

Diane was a wonderful daughter, mother, and grandmother. She lovingly cared for her parents as they aged. She created a craft room for her grandchildren where they loved spending time becoming creative with her.

She was a huge Auburn fan, often screaming “War Eagle”, and loved attending football games with her best friend Audrey Naylor and her daughter Yevette.

Diane was an avid mystery reader, loved baking chex mix and cookies, enjoyed bird watching, gardening, writing letters, and sending cards to anyone in need of encouragement. She was an animal lover and always had her dog, Honey Noel, by her side.

She is survived by:

Daughter: Heather Hanzelik (Ryan)

Grandchildren: Tanner, Maddison, Annie, Sophie, Scarlett, Bailey, & Tanner Elizabeth

Sister: Sharon LeBlanc (Gervais)
