Mr. William Hoyle Smith, age 80, of Mentone, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at his residence.

Hoyle was born in Mentone on April 1, 1944. He worked as a carpenter and later for the United States Postal Service before retiring.

He is survived by:

Wife: Joyce Smith

Daughter: Lea Long (David)

Son: Clark Smith (Kathy)

Sister: Marie Mann

Preceded in death by:

Parents: Howard & Annie Smith

Brothers: Clyde, Onzie, Cleo, Wesley, & Floyd Smith

Sisters: Opal Flarity & Jane Howell

Pallbearers: Michael Smith, Chris Smith, Cody Smith, Loy Langston, Hershell Pruitt, & Donald Farris

So sorry I didn't get to see him again. I remember when we prayed with him many times years ago. I have such fond memories. May the Lord comfort his family and friends. We will see him again in Heaven. love, Anne Morrison
