Mr. Douglas Alan Shanklin, age 68, of Mentone, AL passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Erlanger Hospital. Doug was born in South Bend, IN on July 12, 1951. Doug served in United States Marine Corps and was retired as a car dealership finance manager.
He is survived by:

I just seen that Mr Shanklin passed. I knew his parents very well as a child and teenager. My family met Ray and Helen at Lester Sumeralls church in South Bend in the early 80s. We snowmobiled with them several times. My family attended their church in Sturgis Michigan back in the late 80s to the early 90s. Sad to read this about Douglas. He was a very nice man. My best wishes to his family. The name Shanklin has always been important to me.
