Ms. Donna J. Heard

Ms. Donna Jean Moses Heard, age 78, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026.

Donna grew up in Fort Payne, Alabama. She was a graduate of Fort Payne High School Class of 1965 and was a Proud Wildcat!

She moved to Cartersville, Georgia in 1975 and raised her children there. LOVED being a NANA and was crazy about all of her grandchildren. Donna loved going “loafering” and shopping, getting to know people, and had a great sense of humor. She was crazy about Alabama Crimson Tide football and hardley ever missed a game.

She was particularly close to her daughter, Cheryl, who cared for her during her last decade of her life.

Son: Christopher Wayne Heard of Cartersville, GA

Grandchildren: Jasmine and Chelsie Heard of Cartersville, GA; Chandler and Chase Postell of Douglasville, GA; Reagan Heard of Adairsville, GA; & Briley Williams
