Mrs. Constance Moran Cook, age 72, of Fort Payne, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at her residence.
Connie was born in Tacoma Park, Maryland on December 20, 1953 to Francis Albert Moran & Barbara Jean Pearson Moran. She graduated from Manatee High School in Bradenton, Florida and later worked as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant).
She is survived by:
Husband: Gene R. Cook
Daughter: Angela Henry Lebo (Mack)
Siblings: Daniel Michael Moran & Toni Parsley (Terry)
Grandchildren: Jaimes Allen (JJ) Henry, Johnny Sugalski, & Maggie Sugalski

Connie was a special person with God in her soul. Her life reflected some great qualities we should use as examples in our own lives. Blessings and peace for Gene, Angie& Mack and all her family/friends.
Connie brought such a sweet spirit into our worship service the first time she visited.After she learned of her sickness she didn’t run from it ,she gracefully took it to Jesus. In her last days she inspired all with her strength and humor. May we all learn from this delightful lady

Connie, I am so happy that you are home now with your Father in heaven. No more pain. However, those of us left behind will miss you so very dearly Connie. Once in bible study Connie shared that she never wrote in her Bible. To her it was sacred and she cherished it. I have always been a note taker in my bible. I still am; but I think about her every single time I write in it. I consider just how precious and sacred these words are. Thank you,Connie.

I am going miss her praising the Lord on Sunday morning and she was great she was a example of a God loving person
Connie's kindness, warmth, and love touched so many lives. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Very special lady gone to be with Jesus. Sister Connie always would lift you up when you were having a bad day. Prayers for comfort to Gene, Angie and the family. She cooked very good turnip greens and collards.
