Mr. Jimmy Wayne Smith, age 81, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at his residence. Jimmy was born on August 9, 1940 in Summerville, Georgia. He served his country in the United States Air Force, was a retired educator, & also a proud member of Mt. Carmel Wesleyan Church in Fort Payne, Alabama.

He is survived by:

Wife: Brenda H. Smith

Son: Mike Smith

Daughter: Jennifer White (Todd)

Grandchildren: Michael Smith Jr., Greyson Smith, Jake Giangrande, & Nick Giangrande

Sister: Freda Miller

Preceded in death by:

Parents: William Gordon Smith & Johnnie Prestwood Smith

Siblings: Mary Lou Cordell, Virginia Cushen, Janet Wilborn, Roy Smith, & Polly Tribble

Bro. Jimmy and his harmonicas were a very special part of our church services. Jimmy never hesitated to share his love for his Saviour. He will be greatly missed. What a great reunion is coming when we shall see him again. Mrs. Brenda, we love you. JT& Andrea
