Mr. Gilliam was born on March 8, 1943 to Mr. John Edward Gilliam & Ruby Mae Chasteen Gilliam. He was a former business owner of Gilliam Wholesale Socks in Fort Payne, AL.

Children: Denise Gilliam Holbrook & Shan Lamar Gilliam (Angie)

Grandchildren: Ethyn Holbrook (Courtney), Dane Gilliam (Erinn), Cheyenne Holbrook & Devin Gilliam

Sisters: Joan Moses (Hulet), Mary Jones, Gail Rowland (Buddy) & Cathy Crow (Gary)

Preceded in death by Wife: Pat Gilliam & Sister: Bobbie McPherson (Hubert)
