Mrs. Diana Rae Gilliam, age 78, of Fort Payne, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at DeKalb Regional Medical Center. She was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on October 2, 1942 to Louis Crossfield & Hazel Allsup Crossfield.

She is survived by:

Husband: James W. Gilliam

Sons: Daniel J. Gilliam (Sherri Petty) & Michael E.W. Gilliam (Jennifer)

Grandchildren: Daniel Jay Gilliam Jr. (Kendra McNeary), Taylor Akins (Dalton), & Logan Smith

Great-Grandchildren: Isaiah McNeary & Makenlee Gilliam

Niece/Daughter: Vicki Dickinson

Brother: Ronald Dean (Brenda)

Sister: Peggy Lagay Dudeck

Several Nieces & Nephews

Preceded in death by:

Brothers: Robert, Raymond, Mack Donald, & Jerry Crossfield

Sisters: Barbara Talley, Betty Green, Freda Rice & Georgia Hurley

I met Diana through my brother Mike. I was so sad to hear of her passing. She was such a great lady & will be sorely missed. My heartfelt condolences to all the family.
