I knew Jim as a deep thinker who mixed genius with a keen sense of sociability and pleasure, kind in spirit, loving his children and loved ones deeply.
Jim loved my cooking and I would take him plates to City Hall or he would come pick up a quiche or plate when he saw I was cooking on Facebook.
He encouraged me to find myself and be myself which I always deeply appreciated about him. He made everyone feel special in their own right because he has a knack for finding the best in others and pointing it out.
I grew to love Jim as a very special person.
I thought of him as a glue in Fort Payne, always wanting to see it thrive and giving of himself to attain that.
His service to his community was long and committed, steady and on fleek.
His music taste was impeccable, a love we shared through out the years.
I know he is united with his sister, Mom and Dad and is free of worldly illness and pain and that satisfies my soul but I will always think of Jim in a special way. He was one of the best and that ain't always the easiest to be!
Explore large Jimbo! You can always know you were deeply loved on this planet but it is time for you to explore the realms of we's from here. Prayers for your family and friends who will have many days of missing and treasuring you.
With deep gratitude for knowing you and sympathy for those you loved,
