Mr Jack I just found out about you going to be with the Lord. I'm sorry I wasn't there. We have sat on the front porch and had many of heart to heart talks. We would go and round up the buffalo 🦬 and the goats 🐐. I'm so proud to call you my friend and confidant. You were like a Dad to me and I will always love you.

It is really hard to imagine a world without Jack. I hope that one day his life story will be told in a book or a film. What a man and what a life! He was a family friend since the 80s and he kept-up with us all throughout the years. The memories are never-ending…the pond, the buffalo, his powerful mind, the radio always on, the paddle boat, Elvis, his teasing, the vintage cars, the years of Jack-without-the-beard, his kindness, his cool glasses, his jokes, his strength, and his wisdom. To our Friend: May you rest in perfect peace, JMU! (Jack Martin, Union)

Our friend Jack.
We were so devastated when we heard you were gone. We had just made plans to come see you Christmas Eve. In the 12 years we’ve known you, we have had so many laughs and long conversations about life and family. We will always think of you with such fond memories.
This photo of you reminds us so much of that twinkle in your eyes reminiscing of good times in years gone by. We remember just how happy you were just a few short months ago, when you came and showed us your new ride. We will miss seeing you.
Our wish for you my friend is that your eyesight is 20/20, and you are eating all the LEMON cakes and LEMON pies you can find. 😀

Mr
Jack was a kind , funny friend. He was always so appreciative. Though I didn't know him long enough, I'll always treasure the memories of listening to Mr. Jack share stories of his interesting life, as we sat.by the pond.

When we moved to this community five years ago, Jack was one of the first people to welcome us. He was a great neighbor who helped us get acclimated to country living. We will miss his wonderful sense of humor.

Mr. Jack was a treasury of stories & memories. I regret not hearing more of them but I’m thankful that he was able to live on the place that he loved right up to the end.
