Mrs. Wilda M. Stephens

October 15, 1935 – September 3, 2024

Mrs. Wilda Maidee Stephens, age 88, of Henagar, AL, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at her home.

Mrs. Stephens was born October 15, 1935 to parents Thomas Jefferson & Mamie Ruth Westbrook. She was saved during Bible School at Beulah Baptist Church where she attended and later joined.

She attended Fyffe High School and married James E. Stephens on June 20, 1955. Mrs. Stephens was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, canning, & sewing.

The family of Mrs. Stephens would also like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Alabama for their caring help during this difficult time.

She is survived by:

Daughters: Jodie (Kody) Laird, Nina (Dan) Rochester, Melissa Stephens, & Marilynn Hale

Sons: James Stephens Jr. (Sue) & Rickey (Julianne) Stephens

8 Grandchildren & 9 Great-Grandchildren

Brother: James (Marie) Westbrook

Sister: Opal Moss
