Mrs. Patricia Diane Peterson

July 15, 1940 – December 13, 2021

Mrs. Patricia Diane Peterson, age 81, of Mentone, Alabama, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, Alabama.

Pat was a loving mom and grandma. She always had a smile and was willing to help others any way she could. She worked as a volunteer at the Moon Lake Library for many years. She also was a kitchen helper at the M.E.R.F. house in Mentone. Pat belonged to the knitters club that met at the library.

She has lived in Alabama for many years. Formerly from Englewood, Florida, and also Rose City, Michigan.

She is survived by:

Daughters: Julie Mayhew (Joe)-Mentone, AL & Robin Carroll (Chris)-Powell, AL

Grandchildren: Dan Carroll (Katey)-New Jersey, Baley Carroll (Talya)-New Jersey, Jonathan Mayhew (Windy)-Sulphur Springs, AL, Jessica Clardy (Randy)-Fort Payne, AL & Jamie Mayhew-Mentone, AL

Great-Grandchildren: Dan Carroll, Hannah Carroll, Violet Carroll, Destiny Clardy, Breanna Clardy, Connor Clardy, Ava Clardy, & Kamden Mayhew

Cousins: Alyn & Garvine

Charlie and I are so glad that we got to share some lunches at MERF with Pat. We always enjoyed her company, and were so glad that she got to come back to Mentone. Prayers for her family. She will be missed.

Dear Julie, Joe and family..

Steven and I send our sincere sympathies to you and your families. Pat was a wonderful person who loved her family and friends. She will be missed on this earth but leaves a warm place in our hearts and wonderful memories that we will cherish. Rest in Peace, Pat.

Pat was a very sweet lady. I have such good memories being her friend and neighbor on Texas Street many years ago. May she Rest In Peace with our Lord in heaven.
