Nancy was one of my dad’s civil air patrol cadets when she was in high school. My first memory of riding horses was sitting in the saddle in front of Nancy when I was about 3 years old. A few years ago I got to trailer 3 of my horses to Nancy’s stable in Mentone and introduce her to my daughter and granddaughter. Thank you for some wonderful memories. The horses of heaven have a new friend.

I count myself blessed indeed for being able to count Nancy, Dewey and Larry amoung my most cherished friends for fifty years. The warm sincere friendship and eagerness to allways extend a helping hand to her fellow acquaintances are memories to retain in our hearts forever. Rest In peace with our Lord Nancy! You truly deserve it!

We're going to miss this very tough, strong beautiful lady. I never come across someone who was so tender with her horses and yet so forceful. What an amazing person. I am grateful that she was a character in my life. Sleep Well Nancy...I'll never forget your smile.

She permitted me to model myself after her as I grew up. I will strive every day to be such a Gibraltar. The heavens are a brighter place. Tell mom hi for me.

The horses of the world are weeping, and those of us who loved Nancy are weeping as well. She was such a force of nature and a powerhouse of will. She had such a profound impact on us all in her own quiet Nancy-like way. My husband and I will miss her shining spirit.

I've known Nancy for almost 50 years...ever since she was my counselor at Camp Skyline, in my cabin and also teaching me horseback riding. I got to visit with her last June when I was in Mentone, and am so glad that I did. She was a special person, and will be missed by so many people.

Nancy is my aunt and I am sorry that she's not here anymore. I have known her since early 60's and she was a very sweet person. I feel very much like she is a shining star from Heaven now. May God bless and keep her family safe always.
