I had the privilege of knowing Martha Stanley across the years in church, school, scouting, and social settings … and I always appreciated her direct manner that cut to the chase through wit and wisdom. She was consistently supportive of me and my endeavors - as she was with so many others - and I will be forever grateful. May her family’s memories of her exemplary life and work provide great comfort in days to come.

I was blessed to be Martha's pastor back in the 80's. She was a champion of missions which proved to be the ministry arm of Valley Head Baptist Church. She was one of God's priceless jewels that added exponential joy to my being a pastor. I'm so very grateful that her and Herbert are in my future! Psalm 37:5.
