Mrs. Ellen Frances Burgess Wade
October 19, 1937 – February 28, 2019
Mrs. Ellen Frances Burgess Wade, 81, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at DeKalb Regional Medical Center.
She worked for many years in the hosiery industry and as a door greeter at Wal-Mart. She loved gardening and taking care of stray cats that she just couldn’t turn away. She also loved her dog Tiny.
She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren unconditionally. Her greatest joy was spoiling the grandchildren that she loved so dearly. She attended every sporting event, play or graduation possible if one of her beloved was involved.
She never met a stranger and had a big heart. She loved her church family at Second Baptist Church, of which she was a member for over 35 years. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend.

1 family and friends of Ellen. I am very sorry for your loss. Many people find comfort in this scripture. John 5:28, 29
"28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life,"
May God comfort your family
