Mrs. Diane Ophelia Robinette

August 12, 1948 – March 15, 2024

Mrs. Diane Ophelia Robinette, age 75, of Fort Payne, Alabama passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Parkridge West Hospital in Jasper, Tennessee.

Diane had unwavering faith in Jesus Christ throughout her entire life and was heavily influenced by the book of Psalms. She shared this love in every duty that she served and it was reflected in her beautiful smile. She dearly loved her family, her friends, and all of the children she worked with throughout her many years of teaching and working in daycare programs.

Diane was a wonderful daughter, mother, and grandmother. She lovingly cared for her parents as they aged. She created a craft room for her grandchildren where they loved spending time becoming creative with her.

She was a huge Auburn fan, often screaming “War Eagle”, and loved attending football games with her best friend Audrey Naylor and her daughter Yevette.

Diane was an avid mystery reader, loved baking chex mix and cookies, enjoyed bird watching, gardening, writing letters, and sending cards to anyone in need of encouragement. She was an animal lover and always had her dog, Honey Noel, by her side.

I enjoyed having Diane as my parapro at the Lutheran School. She was so loving and helpful to me and our kindergartners. She was a hard worker and was truly a blessing to be around. Chuck and Heather, she always lovingly talked about both of you. She will be missed. Prayers for both of you!

Ms. Diane was an amazing woman and friend to all who met her to know her was to love her. She had an infectious smile and laugh. In the years I got to know her. She quickly became a mother and grandmother figure to me and my children. She always loved and wanted to take care and help any in need. She was truly an angel among us all. She was so very proud of her children and all her grandchildren. She will always be missed and loved each and every day.

I will miss you sweet Diane. Thank you for loving me even though we had a short time together. You had such a kind heart for everyone. You always cared for everyone. And you loved doing it. I was proud to call you my sister. Forever, I will look for moments of you.

We cant imagine not opening the front door to her, cheering on Auburn together or going on road trips together. Will get her an Auburn brick on concourse so she can always cheer on her favorite team! Love and miss you Di.
