I am so sorry for your loss! Please accept my condolences. I know what it’s like to lose a loved one to death. Know you are not alone! God “is close to the broken-hearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 36:18) He is “the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials...” (2 Corinthians 1:3) Yes, he cares for us and wants to help us through any hardship that brings us any pain and suffering! Not only this, he gives us a promise found at Revelation 21:4. It says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” He will rid the earth of all pain and suffering, especially death! 1 Corinthians 15:26 says, “And the last enemy, death, will be brought to nothing.” Yes, death is an enemy to all, even God!
What a beautiful woman, Mrs. Cooper was. I am very sorry that you have suffered this loss. It is hard to know just what to say when a loved one dies. Be assured that our loving Creator is aware of your loss and pain. Through His son, Christ Jesus, he has arranged to bring back to life, "all those in the memorial tombs." (John 5:28,29) At that time, Rev. 21:4 says: “And he [God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend. May God's Word comfort you and your family.
