I lost touch with Bill when I moved to Illinois. Living in Nashville, Bill was like a father to me in the car business. I made many trips to the dry cleaners for him. Made many calls to the cell phone company to get discounts due to bad cell service in the 90's. All in all, Bill was a great guy that taught me many lessons in life. Some good, some bad. Once I moved to Illinois, I thought of him often wondering "What would Bill do in this situation". Many great memories from traveling to auctions and car shows. Great guy that I was proud to know.
Crazy to think he died 6 years ago, rest in peace Grampa.
I'm so sorry for Becky, Amy and Abby. My condolences to family
Becky and Girls , I just learned today about Billo. I am sorry and I will pray for your heart to be comforted.
My sincerest condolences to this wonderful family.
I only had the pleasure meeting Billo a few times. However, he and his family took me in as if I was their own. I spent Labor Day weekend in Valley Head/Fort Payne back in 2007 and it was one of the most fun and memorable weekends I can remember.
Lots of fun, food and laughs!
He was a special man.
My thoughts and prayers go out to family and friends during the terribly difficult time.

i will see you again brother.
My family were lifelong friends of E.T.. and then, Cannon, after they married. Bi;lo was a dear part of Valley Head. A great ballplayer . Soo likeable; his personality brightened your day.
My deepest sympathy to Becky and daughters on the loss of your husband and father. May you find comfort in remembering all of the wonderful times together. Billo was always quick to lend a helping hand and sweet smile. His kind spirit will be missed by all who knew him, especially his VHHS ‘63 classmates!
So sad to learn of the passing of our VHS '63 classmate. We saw and talked to each other every school day for 12 years. Even though many years have passed, the loss is large. Prayers for his family.
I'm sorry for your loss. Billo was one of the first kids who spoke to me in the first grade. He was always a good guy through high school. I'm glad I got to talk to him and his grandson at our last reunion.
Very sorry to hear about our loss of Billo. He was a good friend and l enjoyed talking to him. He will be missed.by all.
I am so sorry for the loss of your husband, your father and my best friend. Billo and I had great times together at VH, grades 1 thru 12, and beyond. He leaves us with some memories that will never die. My heart is with you during this time.
