Mr. Robert Glenn Baty Jr., age 82, of Mentone, Alabama passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024 at his residence.

He is survived by:

Sons: Scott Baty, Steve Hawkins, & Jon Hawkins

Granddaughter: Caroline Baty

Numerous Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren

Preceded in death by:

Wife: Alma Maxine Baty

Parents: Robert Glenn Baty Sr. & Pearlie Mae “Sis” Lusk Baty

The family is accepting flowers or donations to a local hospice organization of your choice on behalf of Mr. Bob Baty

Bob was a very unique and caring person. He always had an story to tell which would usually have an interesting twist to it I enjoyed his fellowship and friendship. We are in prayer for the family.

I am truly saddened by Bobˋs passing. I will always remember him as a very kind and honourable person. I am so happy that I had the opportunity and pleasure to see him last year. I will miss him, indeed.

I grew up around Bob being family and living past saw mill. Bob was always good to our family. He will be missed. To the boys, Caroline and family, my deepest sympathy.

I was just one of many fortunate young men that knew and learned from Bob, eather from working beside him at the saw mill or just being a neighbor, he was always the same person every time you seen him ! he was one of the elders of our community, and someone we could all call our friend, we will all miss him very much, sending prayers to all the boys, and other family members at this time of loss !! RIP BOB!!!! you will be truly missed her but will be so welcomed in Heaven's Gates !!

Bob will be greatly missed. My father Elb worked many years at the saw mill and was very fond of Bob. Prayers and peaceful thoughts for the family

When you grow up with someone you learn so much about them. I learned very early how smart and what a great athlete Bob was becoming. But most of all We all learned what a leader and friend Bob was to us all.
