Went all the way through school and graduated with Larry. We also played football and other sports together. Larry was a great friend and a really exceptional person. I know his family will miss him very much and I will keep you in my prayers.

Thanks for being the amazing person you were. When we moved to this area I knew we were both dedicated husbands & dads. We were very involved with our kids student and social activities. I didn’t know many people in this area but I always appreciated that fact that I could sit down with you and watch our kids grow and develop through academics, sports and friendship. I will miss that comradeship. Thanks for setting the example of a caring person, parent, leader and family man. My family misses you deeply.
We are confident you are resting peacefully. The Sherrill family will cherish your memories forever. Thank you for being you.

I had the pleasure to have spoke with Mr. Larry about 3 weeks ago at FP vs. Albertville basketball game. He was a very friendly man. I never forget that he said, I am praying for you. He said He would continue to pray for me. He seemed that he was happy. He was their to see his grandson play basketball. The best thing about the story is he was concerned about my health. I am going to continue to pray for his grandson and granddaughter. Please pray for his entire family.

I had the pleasure to become a friend of Larry's when we were at Troy State in the 70s. He was such a loving and caring person. He came home with me on several weekends to help on my Dad's cow farm. I remember taking him to Montgomery when he joined the Air Force. All my best to all his family members ! I know he will be truly missed.
