Mr. James Daniel Hunt

June 12, 1953 – May 23, 2020

Mr. James Daniel Hunt beloved Husband to Mary Jane Hunt and cherished Father to children Rebecca, Josh, Marie, and Amber; embraced Grandfather to Caleb and Adam. Beloved Son to Robert and Jackie Hunt and cherished Brother to Bobby and Debbie.

James was known by his family for his self less love, generosity, and kindness. He gave all that he was and had to his family. James will also be remembered by his amazing sense of humor, his love for Jesus, the outdoors, sports, and his love for the people around him. Up until the day he breathed his last on this earth, he was thinking selflessly of his family. He secretly gave to so many people never asking for anything in return. Closer to the end the one thing he wanted people to remember him by was God’s love for him. He said he wanted God to get the glory for his life. We celebrate his life with praise and joy that he is home.

He is survived by:

I’m loving memory of my beloved cousin, James Hunt. He will always be remembered for his soft spoken ways and love of his family. He was a kind and gentle soul. During his lifetime he played so many important roles. He was a loving son, a husband, a father, a father-in-law, grandfather, brother and also a cousin of the Hunt family. He was also a devoted Christian and will be missed by all who knew him. Rest In Peace Sweet Baby James. Your loving cousin, Janie”

I was honored to have worked with James for quite a long time, and felt like e was a good friend. He was such a good man. Kind, honest and trustworthy. I know he loved his family dearly, and I was blessed to know him and his family.
He will be missed greatly.
Prayers for your family as you say your final goodbyes. Rest in knowing that he is in God's arms.

Mark and I were fortunate to have met James later in life in Spokane when he and Mary Jane came to visit Amber in college. We were so excited to reconnect with our cousin, Mary Jane and meet James and his children. We will always remember James as a quiet, thoughtful family man. We shared many wonderful conversations and we will miss spending time with him again. May he rest in peace and may his family feel his love and support for always.

Mary Jane & family, I know James was a beautiful person or Mary Jane, you would not have chosen him as your life’s mate. Plus your children are examples of the love they witnessed through you. Hug those memories & feelings close. They will be your comfort and joy. My most sincere prayers are pouring from my heart to you and yours!
