Mr. Ernest Randall Ross

December 2, 1964 – February 28, 2026

Mr. Ernest Randall Ross, age 61, Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on February 28, 2026.

Randall graduated from Ringgold High School in 1985. He worked at Collegedale Caseworks for 15 years, Southern Metal Industries for 10 years, and B & B Plumbing for 6 years.

He was well known as a reenactor for The Revolutionary War. His favorite places to go were to Martin’s Station, Audubon Acres, Fort Harrod, Fort Boonesborough, & the Davy Crockett State Park and birthplace. He was an avid sportsman who loved to hunt, fish, camp, make food over a campfire, & tell stories. All that knew him knew he was a loving, caring, talkative person. He will be deeply missed and his legacy will never be forgotten.

He is survived by:

Children: Zachary Ross-Earlville, NY & Katie Swafford (Jake)-Georgetown, TN

Grandchildren: Sam, Lucy, Jaxson, & Jalynn

Father: Ernest Ross (Faye)

Sisters: Kim Ross-Feagans (Bobby) & Carmen Ross

Brothers: Joe Guffey, Tim James, T. J. Guffey, Mike James, & Doug James

Many Nieces, Nephews, & Cousins
