Mr. Dennis "Johnny Wesley" Lewchuk

July 16, 1946 – August 27, 2024

Mr. Dennis “Johnny Wesley” Lewchuk, age 78, of Valley Head, Alabama, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.

Mr. Lewchuk was born in Norfolk, Nebraska and was a very talented musician. He toured for many years and entertained fans all over Nebraska, eventually being inducted into the Nebraska Music Hall of Fame in July 2001. He later moved to Alabama and owned Stereo City in Chattanooga for many years.

He is survived by:

Wife: Joy “Pam” Lewchuk

Daughters: Angel Baggett (Josh), Jenny Lewchuk, Misti Anderson (Joel), & Misty Buskuirt

Sons: Frankie Lewchuk, Johnnie Lewchuk (Laura), Dennis J. Lewchuk (Valerie), & Dennis L. Lewchuk (Summer)

Sisters: Gail Cheyney (David) & Valerie Bonney

Brothers: Randall Lewchuk & Quinn Lewchuk

Grandchildren: Aubree, Autumn, Kynlee, Warren, River, Rilyn, Tristan, Colten, Jayce, Dawson, Charlet, Chaunce, & Chayse

Preceded in death by: Frank & Burnetta Lewchuk

Pallbearers: Ladon Willingham, Bill Hatfield, Dean Gravitt, Scotty Hulgan, Greg Hester, & Jayce Smith

Pop was amazing, I have know his most of my life, all the way back to the flea market days on 23rd Street. I loved that he was kind and honest in such a crazy world. His word meant alot!! He was family to so many!!
