Mr. David Van Edwards, age 58, of Collinsville, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at DeKalb Regional Medical Center.

He is survived by:

Wife: Falisa Burt Edwards

Son: Coleman Van Edwards (Jessica)

Beloved Grandchildren: Brody Edwards & Brie Edwards

Sister: Vickie Biederman (Tom)

Brother: Terry Edwards (Jennifer)

Brother-in-law: Bobby Burt (Kathy)

Sister-in-law: Misty Burt (Chris)

Very Special Nieces & Nephews: Alan Biederman, Zac Thomas, Presly Thomas, & Madison Burt

Preceded in death by:

Father: Floyd Edwards

Mother: Martha Moran

Brothers: Larry Edwards & JR Edwards

Pallbearers: Van Edwards, Alan Biederman, Zac Thomas, Bobby Burt, Jay Bougit, & Brian McElrath

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to help with David’s medical bills. All family and friends are welcome at the graveside service but MASKS ARE required and please practice social distancing.

so sorry to hear about david s passing.anywhere i saw him,he would throw his hand up and wave.i never knew him very well,but i knew he was a special person.by how frienly he was.my family is allso going through a bad time.we know how you are feeling.our prayers are with yall.

I worked with David @ Junior at the landfill for 24 years. They were really dedicated employees @ would help you out in any way. They will be truly missed. Prayers for the family @ may God bless you.

Ive knew David since I was a boy, ive worked with him for years at FP Sanitation, we will miss our friend dearly, my tboughts & prayers are with his wife & family ive cried like a baby since I got the call this morning, I loved David like a big brother
