Mr. David Brittain Bray

June 15, 1947 – January 30, 2024

Mr. David Bray, age 76, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed peacefully after a long fight with lung cancer with several family members in attendance.

He was supported throughout good times and bad by his loving wife of 58 years, Ellen Bray. His legacy was to teach his future generations love, generosity, work ethic, strength, and commitment, which will live on for generations to come.

The family wants to acknowledge the people who contributed to his journey throughout life. His life was more bountiful for the people who were present during it.

He is survived by:

Wife: Dora Ellen Hubbard Bray

Daughters: Wenona Dotson of Nashville, Jessica Houser (Travis) of Alexandria, & Sherry Smith of Manchester

Sisters: Gail Dunn of Fort Payne & Sharron Patterson of Fort Payne

Grandchildren: Tiffany Miller, Henry Dotson (Lexi), Charlie Stout (Josephine), Dale Dotson, & Jesse Houser (Emily)

Parents: Jesse “Britt” & Vernie Bray

Son-in-law: Greg Dotson

Grandchildren: Travis Lee Houser & Sebastian Houser

I haven’t known Mr. David bray long but I was blessed to get to be in his presence for a while. He was loved and will be missed by so many.
