Mr. Curtis Wayne Roden

August 10, 1948 – December 30, 2025

Mr. Curtis Wayne Roden, age 77. of Valley Head, Alabama, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

Wayne was born in Alexander City, Alabama on August 10, 1948. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his military service Wayne worked as a carpenter by trade and was a proud member of the Carpenter’s Local Union 74 for many years. He was also a Freemason.

He is survived by:

Daughters: Sharon Willbanks (Bitty), Sondra Christopher (Jason), Christie McCurdy (Brent), Susan Roden, April Storey (Shane), Jessica Strickland (Luke), & Dawn Crowe (David)

Grandchildren: Amber Watts, Danielle Watts, Ashley Blackmon, Ariana Christopher, Caden Christopher, Blake McCurdy, Hunter McCurdy, Bella Sharon Kay McCurdy, Jena Speakman, Jaclyn Tenenbaum, Nicole Capes, Rayne Teems, Katlyn Gaskin, Devan Crowe, Coty “Little Man” Crowe, Jacoby Strickland, Johnathan Willbanks, & Liberty Willbanks

Several Great-Grandchildren
