I knew Holley from work in the MASA building. No finer, funnier, upright, ethical man. He loved being able to retire to Mentone and knew my love for the area, and we had many talks about it. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed by many.

Holley was a wonderful, intelligent gentleman with a deep love of history and community. His thoughts and opinions were valued and respected on the boards he served. Holley has left a lasting legacy in his numerous deeds of service to the Mentone community. His passing has saddened us all but left me remembering how he impressed upon me to enjoy the time we have for we never know when it will end. My life is richer for having known Holley Midgely.
