Mr. Bobby Joe Jones Sr.
October 26, 1936 – December 7, 2022
Mr. Bobby Joe Jones Sr., age 86, of Fort Payne, Alabama, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2022 at DeKalb Regional Medical Center. He was born on October 26, 1936 to Thomas & Hattie Pearl Jones.
Mr. Jones attended DeKalb County High School after which he worked for Ernest Wallace Gas Station. He then went on to work for Hosmer Auto Parts followed by Whitley Electric and Plumbing as well as the Fort Payne Fire Department.
During working with Whitley Electric and Plumbing, he purchased the business and went in with his partner Eddie Freeman, creating Jones and Freeman Plumbing. It was later that he went out on his own as Jones Plumbing for the remainder of his career. The last few years he had been working for Ladd Enviromental Consultants until his death.
Mr. Jones attended Minvale Baptist Church where he was Chairman of Deacons.

Children: Rebecca Jones Mitchell, Joey Jones (Beth), & Jeremy Jones
Grandchildren: Daniel Mitchell (Lauren), Andrew Mitchell (Hattie), Brooklyn Hicks (Jon), Caleb Jones, & Hannah Jones
Great-Grandchildren: Luke Mitchell & Jon Sawyer Hicks
