Betty Johnson Holderfield

October 4, 1945 – September 29, 2024

Betty Johnson Holderfield, age 78, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Life Care of Ooltewah in Ooltewah, Tennessee.

Betty was very proud of her accomplishments and they were many. She had a master’s degree in finance. She was a Certified Public Accountant in both Texas and Tennessee. She acquired many awards throughout her career. She spent the majority of her career in Nuclear Management at T.V.A. She finished her career as an Anti-Money Laundering Agent for the I.R.S.

After retiring, Betty developed a love for shooting and was a member of the Lady Aphrodite Shooting team in Knoxville, TN. She became a certified shooting range instructor, as well as a firearms instructor.

She was predeceased by her parents, Robert & Beatrice Johnson; sister, Martha Ann Wolfe.

She is survived by:

Daughter: Misty Koon (Doug) Terry

Grandchildren: R. J. Browning & Lillian Kate Koon

Cousin: Amelia Landstreet

Best Friend: Ginny Aries

Good Friends: Jim & Kim Keylon

Miss Betty did accomplish quite a bit in her lifetime. Her greatest accomplishments were raising her 2 children Misty and Rhett. My heart is with you both, her grandchildren, and all who loved her. I pray God's comfort & peace for you all.
