Sue was an extraordinary woman who lived by a hardworking ethic. During her lifetime she had several jobs in textile mills. After retirement she began a career as a caregiver for homebound and end stage patients. She took pride in her work and grew to love all of her clients.
Her family will tell you there wasn’t anything she couldn’t do if she set her mind to it. From sewing curtains, to upholstering furniture, wallpapering, gardening, & cooking. However Sue had some of her best times selling at Flea Markets; from enjoying the thrill of the hunt to bartering for the best deal. The entire process gave her great pleasure. She will be missed by her family very much.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Redmond Regional Hospital in Rome, GA. Especially the third floor ICU East. They were very helpful, compassionate, & respectful. Also the nurses and support team from Enhabit Home Health & Hospice. Thank you for answering all questions and being available day or night.
The family is also accepting flowers
